as much as i would love to put down katy perry's first proper album seeing its lack of nuance and problematic takes that hit you again and again before you've recovered from the last, ... , it has been the only cd to touch the desperate grooves of my cd player the past week........... maybe i am just trying to relive the (ironically considering the title) pop lover kuntenslayen girly girl childhood i didn't allow myself to have but... one of the boys is a beam of light. it is the sun.
i've found it's proven perfect for drag lipsyncs. maybe i do understand her featuring on rupauls drag race.
like, yes i kissed a girl and i liked it katy, yes, work . it's not what good girls do, not how they should behave, well....-- um, her vocals make up for it. and thinking of you..,,, it is absurd..... but she knew that., it's genius i can't express it
